We will continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government (www.gov.uk) and Public Health England carefully and follow the guidance to help minimise the spread of COVID-19.
Eden's Youth Centre is temporarily closed:
We are really sorry and disappointed to say that we feel it is the right and responsible thing to do to close Eden's sessions until we receive further government guidance that we can re-open the Youth Centre. We are taking this action to support the government's approach of social distancing to slow down the progress of the coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable in our community.
We are very aware that this is going to be a great disappointment to the young people and some may find these next few weeks and months very hard for all kinds of reasons, on top of which they will not have the usual avenues of outside support available to them. Stuart Ayling (Eden's qualified youthworker) will be available via social media to continue to support young people in lots of ways e.g.: an occasional quick chat if they are bored, advice, guidance, organised regular times of online one-to-one mentoring. Young people can get in touch via their preferred social media using these links:
For parents the best way to keep up to date with developments is our website or facebook page:
